Biography

Elena Petri is a postdoctoral researcher at the Eindhoven University of Technology, Eindhoven, The Netherlands. She obtained the Ph.D. degree in Control Engineering from the Université de Lorraine, Nancy, France in 2023 with a thesis titled ``Hybrid techniques for state estimation: event-triggered sampling and performance improvement". She received the bachelor and master degrees in Mechatronics Engineering from the University of Padova, Italy, in 2017 and 2020, respectively. Her research interests include observers, nonlinear systems, hybrid systems and neuromorphic control.
